DUNLOP® ACIFORT®

Acifort is Dunlop’s unique invention of PVC, nitrile rubber and polymers. Nitrile rubber ensures a longer lifetime and better resistance to oil, fat, blood and chemicals, and Polymers add flexibility to your boot, thereby increasing comfort. Dunlop developed special Acifort boots for each industry to give you the comfort and protection you deserve.

PREVENTING SLIP, TRIP AND FALL ACCIDENTS AT WORK
Beyond the injury, each slip, trip and fall can cost an organisation a lot of time and money. We aim to significantly reduce accidents and all costs related through our relentless pursuit of innovation. The new Dunlop Slips, Trips & Falls Innovation Centre’s sole focus will be to increase worker safety and companies’ productivity by eradicating slip, trip and fall accidents.
WEARING THE RIGHT FOOTWEAR CAN SAVE LIVES.
The aim is to prevent slips, trips and falls. We do this by researching and testing slip behaviour and using our knowledge and years of experience in developing new products.
According to EN standards, we test our Dunlop® boots, under-development boots, and our competitors' boots for SR-A, SR-B, and SR-C according to EN standards (ISO 13287). The testing involves registering everything that can affect the boots’ slip resistance, for instance, hardness, roughness, profile geometry, channel volumes and contact surface. But, that’s not all. We also conduct client-specific studies and benchmarks. This way, we can always give our clients a piece of honest and sincere advice on what boots to wear.
DUNLOP® GLOBAL SAFETY STANDARDS
Your boots should give you maximum protection, protection against cold, against slipping and tripping, against mud, oil, manure, chemicals or animal hooves. Dunlop boots meet the safety requirements in specific environments and comply with the highest international safety standards. We work with leading independent institutes such as TÜV Rheinland, HSL, ASTM, CSA, and SATRA to ensure this.
